The Richmond County Commonwealth's Attorney's office works closely with state and local law enforcement to effectively promote a safe environment for all citizens of Richmond County. Many times this involves seeking alternative solutions to problematic situations. When criminal cases are prosecuted, the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office works on behalf of the Commonwealth of Virginia in General District Court, Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court and Circuit Court to see that justice is served.
