EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN – Advanced Life Support (A, I, or P) Richmond County Board of Supervisors is seeking a qualified individual for the full-time position of EMT-A/I/P. The successful applicant will be employed by the Richmond County Department of Emergency Services. Position: Emergency Medical Technician – Advanced Life Support (EMT-A, I, or P) is a full-time position that consists of approximately 9, twenty-four hour shifts per month working a set, rotating schedule. Qualifications: Applicants must be certified at the EMT-A, EMT-I or EMT-P level or be completing a current Advanced Life Support program. Current ACLS, PALS, and CPR, EVOC class 2 or higher, Pro-Board Certified FF1, Haz-mat operations and awareness, and Vehicle Extrication operations and awareness (or the ability to obtain fire certifications in a 24-month time period). Salary: Starting pay is dependent on certification level and years of experience. We offer 80% credit into our retention plan for qualified prior years of service. A full-time position provides County benefits to include paid State recognized holidays, health insurance, life insurance, VRS retirement program (with Hazardous Duty Multiplier), LEO’s, career development, and optional deferred compensation plans. Starting Salary Range: EMT-A: $45,000-$55,600 EMT-I: $47,000-$57,600 EMT-P: $49,000-$59,600 A completed Richmond County Application and resume are required for consideration. Food Service Technician

The Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, VA, is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Food Service Technician with a starting annual salary of $33,882.61. The selected candidate would enjoy an outstanding and comprehensive benefits package. Duties include the coordination and supervision of food preparation, cooking, and serving at the jail. Flexibility in hours and ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends is required. Successful applicants must undergo a background investigation, polygraph, and medical examination. Jail Officer 

The Northern Neck Regional in Warsaw, VA, is seeking candidates for a Jail Officer Position. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma, or GED and have a current VA D.L. Successful completion of the jail basic academy within the first year of employment is required. The starting salary for this position is $42,000. Qualified Mental Health Professional

The Northern Neck Regional Jail is seeking candidates for a full time Qualified Mental Health Professional to provide case management and counseling to incarcerated individuals. Duties include performing assessments of inmate needs; individual counseling, case management of chronic, acute, and crisis stages of mentally ill individuals, provide sound clinical documentation, and attend regular staffing meetings. Qualifications, Education and Experience: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human services, psychology, sociology, or closely related field. Clinical experience preferred. Registration with Virginia Board of Counseling as a QMHP-A, preferred. Successful applicants must undergo a background investigation, polygraph, medical, and fitness for duty examinations. The starting salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000.
