The Richmond County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with the Warsaw Police Department, the Northumberland County Sheriff's Office, and the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office, is seeking information on the identity of the persons that broke into a residence in the Town of Warsaw on January 15, 2010.

At least three subjects forced their way into the residence of Lawrence Altaffer.  Mr. Altaffer (age 85) was accompanied by this home health nurse.  The subjects were wearing masks and displayed a handgun.  The subjects then robbed Mr. Altaffer and stole an undisclosed amount of money and a laptop computer.  Mr. Altaffer was not injured at the time of the robbery but did pass away approximately 12 hours later.

Terry C. Brown, he is described as a black male, age 27.  He is wanted by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear.  His last know address was in Tappahannock, VA. Lucius A. Gaines, Jr., he is described as a black male, age 29.  He is wanted by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear.  His last know address was on Gravel Pit Road, Warsaw, VA.
