In accordance with Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia, 1950 as amended and pursuant to Section 15.2-2285 of the Code of Virginia, 1950 as amended, the Richmond County Planning Commission hereby gives notice that a Public Hearing will be held starting at 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 8, 2010 in the Richmond County Public Meeting Room, Warsaw, Virginia. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to consider the following application:

Pursuant to Section 28.2-1302 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, notice is hereby given to all interested parties that the Richmond County Wetlands Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 25, 2010, at 7:00 p.m., in the Richmond County Circuit Court Building, Warsaw, Virginia, in order to consider the following applications for Richmond County Wetlands Permits: 1. Evelyn Wilfong, 3409 N. Frederick Pike, Winchester, Va. 22603 has applied for permission to construct 105’ of rip rap revetment ( class II stone ) and 2 low-profile stone groins ( class I and II mixed ) extending 48’ channelward of mean high water along their Rappahannock River shoreline. The property in question is located on Mothershead Neck Road, and is further identified as Tax Map 42 – 92K and 92C. VMRC # 10-0253. 2. Marvin E. & Catherine S. Nielsen, 27938 Oaklands Circle, Easton, MD 21601, has applied for permission to; grade an 11,250 square feet area down to match adjacent wetlands areas and plant wetlands grasses for marsh restoration; install a 148' long rip-rap sill in front of existing bulkhead adjacent to proposed wetlands restoration area; install 163' of rip-rap marsh toe stabilization and remove existing timber boat ramp and construct a 12'x30'x6' concrete boat ramp and improve and expand existing gravel ramp access road, along their Richardson Creek shoreline. The property in question in located on Folly Neck Road, and is further identified as Tax Map 35-2 and 2A. VMRC #10-0274.
